WordPress announced the first release candidate for version 2.9. You can see all the details here. If everything goes as scheduled, they will release the full version 2.9 by the end of this week. There are some really neat things in this new version. Particularly handling of images and updating things in bulk. This should really be a time saver. Now of course as always with a new release, we will have to see what bugs pop up and if they stay on this schedule.

Hello and Welcome,

Today I wanted to talk about why how to Choose a First Class Affiliate Program.

When it comes to choosing an affiliate program, how can you know if you've picked the right one? There are so many different affiliate programs available that it becomes difficult to choose the right one to suit your needs. The object of any affiliate program is to help you make money, so here are some things to look for when you're trying to find the right one for you.

Appeal

Perhaps the biggest mistake many people make is trying to appeal to everyone at once. You need to understand what your website visitors are searching for before you choose an affiliate program. When you have a clear understanding of the types of things your visitors will be searching for, you have a greater chance of appealing to their need to buy.

Commission

The next consideration is to ask yourself if the affiliate commission you'll receive will be worth the time and effort you put into promoting the program. Obviously your goal is to make as much money as possible from your efforts, so always check the amount you'll receive per sale.

Sales

Of course, a high commission amount is not always the same thing as a good selling product. It's important to weigh your findings against how well the product is likely to sell. There's no point trying to promote a product that might pay you a few hundred dollars per sale if you can't sell any. You might find that aiming at a product that will pay you a smaller commission on a far more regular basis could mean higher profits in the long run.

Credibility

Many people searching for affiliate programs aim at highly credible companies or high-profile names on the internet. While it's important to try and aim at working with a credible company, it's also important to remember that there are also plenty of newer companies appearing on the internet offering great opportunities. Be sure to check what other affiliates are saying about a particular company.

Tracking

Affiliate programs use cookies to track the referrals they receive from affiliates. These cookies allow them to identify you as the owner of the rightful account to be credited with the commission if a sale is made.

While many product owners choose to use third-party affiliate managers, there are also many companies that run their own internal tracking systems.

Reporting

When you're spending time and money promoting a product, you want to know you can access accurate reporting information quickly. Real time stats reporting can show you how many people are clicking through on your affiliate links and how many of those clicks are converting to actual sales. The ability to access the information in your stats reports is an integral part of any successful affiliate program.

Marketing Tools

You should always try to locate affiliate programs that offer you a wide range and selection of marketing tools. Throwing a few pretty banners on your website is perhaps the least effective way of promoting any affiliate program, so consider looking for programs that offer ready-made marketing material you can use.

Ideally, you should be given access to articles, pop under ads, reviews, ebooks you can use for viral marketing efforts, auto-responders, RSS feeds, video presentations, audio presentations, social networking and book-marking tools, ezine ads, blogging tools and traffic exchanges.

Cost to Join

Most affiliate programs are free to join. After all, they want you to sell their products for them, so they'll try to make it easy for you to sign up. Always be sure you're working with affiliate programs that don't cost you anything to join.

EzyZone.com offers you all these things and more. Simply join up and you'll be given access to tools that will allow you to create your own websites that you can use to promote your affiliate programs. In fact, EzyZone also offers a great affiliate program that will allow you to share in their revenue. Bloggers know the importance of making regular posts to their WordPress sites. Most experts agree that it takes a minimum of three blog postings per week to be an effective blog writer. Posting at least three articles per week shows that you are a serious professional with expert knowledge in your field that you are willing to share on a regular basis.

Does that mean you can never take a week off (or longer) for vacation again? If you use Blogomator, you can have the best of both worlds – keep your free time plus maintain frequent postings.

There are a couple of ways to use Blogomator to your advantage.

First, you can upload your blog articles before your vacation ever starts. The program allows you to upload articles and schedule exactly when you would like to post them on your WordPress blog.

You could schedule blogs for an entire year or more and your readers would never know you were enjoying time with your family on a cruise!

The other way to fully utilize the Blogomator system is to blog while you are on vacation. You will not need to drag along your laptop or any special equipment!

Because there are no files to download when you use Blogomator, all you need is a computer and an Internet connection. So, whether you are vacationing on a beach along the United States coast or seeing all the sites in Paris, you can write your blog from any computer with an Internet connection.

Jaunt into an Internet café and tell your readers about your vacation as it is happening. Your readers will be impressed to know that even on vacation, you make time to stay in contact with them through your blog site.

Blogomator is very unique in that it requires no special files downloaded onto your own computer. That feature makes blogging truly portable for you! Entering a new blog entry is as easy as logging onto www.Blogomator.com and uploading the file.

You can even choose when you want the file to post. Post blogs on your vacation immediately or set them to post at another time. With Blogomator, you will never need to download updates or install plug ins. You will not even have to do any formatting of your article. It is as simple as writing your thoughts and clicking a button. Blogomator does all the rest for you!

If you happen to write more than one blog, that is not a problem. Blogomator allows you to post articles to one or one hundred blogs. And, with each, you control when your articles are posted!

Another added advantage to the Blogomator program is that if you use the services of a ghost writer, the writer may post your articles on your behalf. That will set you free to concentrate on other aspects of developing your business!

There is no need to look at blogging as a chore any more! Blogomator’s easy to use, common sense approach to posting delivers what every blogger wants: a way to make frequent posts without spending hours each week just to maintain a blog! After all, in most cases, a blog is one aspect of public relations for your business. You will be less likely to maintain an effective blog if it takes up too much of your valuable time!

Blogomator not only increases your writing efficiency by making blog posting easier, the fact that no special files or downloads are required makes the program truly carefree. To take advantage of all that Blogomator has to offer, sign up for the program today at www.Blogomator.com.

Well, another week has gone. They go faster and faster. I have been pretty busy this week. I have been putting up some more blogs with my new toy... Expert WordPress. Boy am I impressed with this software. Alex Sysoef and Dmitriy Agadzhanov the two co-owners of Expert WordPress have really gone overboard to make this the best blog installer that I have ever seen. They have a free version which I used for a while and it did a good job. With the free version you do have to download the installer and then upload to you domain, then run it and it will install your blog, install the theme and plugins. Then it will activate the pluigins and do some SEO tweaks. With the free version, you do have to create your database before running the installer. I have since upgraded to the paid version which does all the free version does plus it creates your database and you download nothing. You just login to your back office, click on "1- Click Installer" and fill in a few blanks with information about you cpanel and your blog... click "Install WordPress" and you are done and you have a new blog. Another important point about Expert WordPress is after you have installed your blog, it is just like a manual install. You can change themes, add plugins and do anything else you would normally do to your blog. I was especially impressed with the amount of security and SEO optimization that is done with this program. They also have an unbelievable amount of information available to paid members on their site. There is a monthly upgrade if you need content and prewritten comments and other stuff for you blog. Oh By The Way, did I mention the upgrade is only $7. Awesome! You really should check this out. You can do that Here.
