Well I wanted to talk about a company today that gives the kind of customer service that you wish you could get from all the companies you do business with on and off the Internet.I have always thought since I joined this company about two years ago that they were exceptional both in their services and in the treatment of their customers.But that was really brought home to me this past week. Let me tell you the story.First I wanted to use a new service that I had read about in Aweber, but had not tried it out yet. So I logged in to my Aweber account, created my message and scrolled down looking for the new service.Well what I found was a little disappointing. BTW the service I was looking for was Aweber's new "Send Window" service. It allows you to set the days of the week and hours of the day that you would like your messages to go out.It told me that service was not available in my plan and I would have to upgrade. Needless to say, I was a little upset. They had never said this was an additional cost.So I immediately called Aweber on the phone. I have done this several times before and they have ALWAYS been more that helpful.When I told the representative... and I wish I could recall his name... what my problem was he said there was no problem that the upgrade was actually less that the plan I already had. I have NEVER heard of upgrading for less money, but that is exactly what happened.The plan I had was $19.95 per month and the new plan with the new features was $19.00 per month. I couldn't believe it. He said he could switch me to the new plan over the phone and that is where my next problem came in.I have a budgeted amount money each month for my online activities and it being so close to the end of the month, I told him I would just wait until the first of the month becasue I didn't have the money available that day.He said that was no problem, that I would just be invoiced and could pay it later.I still don't know where the misunderstanding came about, maybe he didn't know that I was on automatic draft, But, anyway the the prorated amount went straight to my bank and caused me to have an overdraft charge of $36 . Again I was a little upset, so back to phone.I explained everything to the customer service representative and she said she would look into it and get back with me and that is exactly what she did.She not only apologized for the misunderstanding but me told they would immediately refund the $36 the bank had charged me. The refund showed up in my bank in two days which I thought was also unusual. It normally takes longer than that to get anything done thought the bank.I tell you, if any one out there needs Autoresponder Service, you certainly can't do better than Aweber. I would recommend them to my best friend and have.If you are not sure, why not take a test drive for free.

Well last week I spoke to soon. I had just done two WordPress upgrades to all my blogs, then along comes another. WordPress Version 2.8.4 just came out. It is another security upgrade, so it is recommended that you upgrade as soon as possible.I will say that the last three upgrades have gone over without a hitch. It really went pretty fast considering that I had to upgrade about thirty blogs. I do try to keep all of my blogs updated.Also as usual, there was a plugin or two that had new versions and as always I go back and delete "Hello Dolly" plugin because I never use it, but it always gets reinstalled with every upgrade.Last week I also talked about a new plugin I am trying called "FasterIM Optin". So far I like what I see, but must admit that I have not had time to install it on more blogs yet.I think it will be a good addition to many of my blogs, but it will take some time to get setup. Well this has been a busy week. I have been spending a lot time
upgrading to the new WordPress version 2.8.3. and a lot time upgrading plugins.It seems that WordPress is constantly upgrading to a new version.
Before you can learn the new stuff another version is out. Even though these last two releases were just security fixes and nothing new to learn, it still takes time to get all your blogs updated.Then there usually is several plugins that will have to be updated and
that takes more time. This is good and bad. It is good because it lets you know that WordPress is striving to continually improve the platform. It is bad because it takes so much time to keep up. But, I guess I would rather spend the time and know I have as good a platform as there is at the time rather save the time and wonder if there was something better.I really should not complain, because in spite of being without air
conditioning for two days and it being to hot in the house to work, I
still got a lot done this week.I am trying a new WordPress plugin that produces optin forms for your blog. It will give you popup forms, exit forms, forms in another window under the current window or forms in your sidebars with widgets.I am still in the process of getting everything setup so I can't tell you
how effective it is yet, but I will keep you posted.If you just can't wait and want to take a look at it yourself, you can go to the site and check it out. The name of the plugin is "FasterIM Optin". There is a free version and a paid version. I have the paid version because I think the added features are well worth the price.
