Well now I have CloudBerry Online Backup, CloudBerry S3 Explorer Pro, and CloudBerry Drive. They all have exceeded my expections. I am still learning all the things I can do with the CloudBerry Online Backup and CloudBerry S3 Explorer Pro programs. I find something new every day.
I have previously reviewed CloudBerry Online Backup and CloudBerry S3 Explorer Pro on this blog and now I will review the CloudBerry Drive program.
There are two versions of the program, CloudBerry Drive Desktop for $29.99 and CloudBerry Drive Server for $59.99. However, they do offer a 15 day free trial so you can download and install the program and give it a god workout to determine is this is something you can use or not before you have to pay. They don't ask for a credit card or Paypal or anything until you decide to buy a license.
CloudBerry Drive mounts your Amazon S3 account as a network or external drive to your Windows computer. With CloudBerry Drive you can work with files in Amazon S3 directly from the Windows Explorer interface, the same way as if they were on your local drive.
The Main Features as listed on their Website are:
- Map Amazon S3 as a network drive
CloudBerry Drive comes with an easy installation and configuration that seamlessly integrates Amazon S3 as an external or network drive with the Windows environment.
- Drag and drop files to Amazon S3 and back
With CloudBerry Drive your Amazon S3 storage can be accessed as any other local, network or external drive on your computer, so you can easily move files to the cloud and back.
- Use Amazon S3 with 3rd party applications
Use Amazon S3 as a storage with other third party products and services you use every day: email agents, file managers, office applications and other.
- Automate with Command Line Interface
Simplify configuration, automate common tasks and integrate virtual drive with Command Line interface

When you install and setup the program you can decide what Amazon S3 account to use and what drive letter you will assign to this virtual drive and whether or not you want this drive to be mounted when windows start or if you want to mount it later as you need it.
After it is mounted you can use it just like any other hard drive. You can drag and drop files to it and they are then saved in the cloud.
I really like this program and like all the other CloudBerry products I think they have over delivered on this one too.
